Versus Systems introduced two new products to the market, Winfinite and Winfinite Cash, each with minimal identity or branding. I played a pivotal role in creating comprehensive branding and marketing strategies for both projects. Through extensive research and collaborative efforts with the team, we established a solid foundation for effectively marketing these new products in the highly competitive online gambling space. The projects encompassed the creation of social ads, RDAs, logo design, copywriting, and motion ads for TikTok and Instagram Stories. The results were epic, as we successfully attracted hundreds of new users within weeks.

Employment: 3 years
Lead Performance Marketing Designer
As the Lead Performance Designer at Atlassian, I quickly made an impact on the business. Atlassian, with its many complex software offerings, posed a considerable challenge, especially during COVID. Fortunately, the well-organized design team and regular meetings helped me adapt swiftly. I initiated the creation of design templates and improved communication with my business partners.
Collaborating with the team, I proposed new ad formats like YouTube pre-roll ads, HTML5 ads, GIFs, and videos for social posts. I worked closely with the copy team, optimizing our ads with concise, data-backed headlines. We also used animations to convey complex ideas and capture attention. Our efforts led to a 10% performance increase in the first year, resulting in the creation of two new positions dedicated to the new ad formats.
During my three-year tenure, I made substantial contributions beyond performance marketing. This included designing motion graphics for events, webinars, and internal communications, as well as participating in the 24-hour hackathon, ShipIt. I assisted in implementing and testing a new DAM system for the team and regularly engaged in weekly creative sessions to support the rest of the team's technical and creative challenges.

In 2016 Shutterfly introduced two new card addons for holidays to boost card sales. Glitter and foil. It was very important to create a memorable visual representation of these new features. While easy to show these effects using video it is much more difficult with html5, especially with GDN file size restrictions. I used a combination of the JavaScript and gif animations to bring these banners to life. The ads exceeded expectations and helped propel these new card features to the top selling card add-ons for 2016.

The budget for Valentines Day did not allow for Rich Media Ads. It was important to the team that we show a full range of products in a single banner. The solution automatically rotates through each product category supplying a unique URL and CTA sending the prospect to the landing page appropriate for the product the clicked on. Basically a rich media ad without the additional ad cost.

We wanted to show a complete product range in one banner in a lifestyle setting. The challenge was make sure the viewer could identify the products. The solution I came up with was to make the banner interactive with little callouts. The holiday banners this year out performed every other year for CTR and new customer acquisition.

Father's Day was is an important event for Shutterfly. I wanted to keep display in sync with the rest of the teams marketing collateral. I was able to reuse all the same elements by create unique layouts that worked in display sizes. This kept a strong visual connection between the landing pages and display.
